As a new funeral home, our challenge was very familiar--new name trying to gain on the old established brands in the area. After dabbling in many forms of media and public relations, it seemed as though something was missing. I could not put my finger on ‘it’.

I realized I better find an ‘expert’ to help me--easier said than done. In my funeral consultant search I ran across several very expensive ‘firms’ as well as some ‘mom and pop’ firms that really did not understand my challenge (but they were willing to spend a lot of my money try to). The process was actually very simple, yet very detailed in a good way. After several calls and conference call sessions, John finally narrowed down my challenge. I did not have a unique selling proposition (USP). John took all that we talked about and condensed it into several ideas.

Since working with John, we have seen our business grow. Not only in at-need, but also pre-need. His messaging resonates with our community, and now I can effectively articulate our USP.
